Fred Moten is an associate professor of English and American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California. His research and teaching interests include Black Studies, Visual Studies, Performance Studies, and American Studies. His book is entitled In the Break: The Aesthetics of the Black Radical Tradition (2003).
